E. L. Klein is a Canadian author and screenwriter. He’s the writer and creator of Big Circle Boys, currently in development in Canada, and Antiturista, currently in development in Mexico, as well as Snowbridge and Influence, two original drama series that explore power dynamics and cross-border conflict. His scripts have drawn interest from producers in Canada, the US, and Mexico.

Before breaking into the industry, Klein studied episodic television at the University of Toronto and interned at the Characters Talent Agency. He’s the former editor of Klein’s Journal, a lifestyle magazine covering culture and global affairs. His fiction and journalism have been published in Acta Victoriana, The Antigonish Review, and InsideHook, among others.

Since 2020, Klein has traveled extensively across Latin America. He’s lived in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. He’s currently based in Toronto and Mexico City.
