Klein began his career as a literary intern at The Characters Talent Agency. He studied multimedia journalism at the University of Toronto and creative writing under award-winning Peruvian novelist, Alonso Cueto.

His fiction has been published in Acta Victoriana, The Northern Appeal, and The Antigonish Review, among others. His travel writing has appeared in InsideHook and Condé Nast Traveler. In 2023, he was featured on Monocle Radio.

As a screenwriter, Klein has had several original television projects under consideration in Canada and Mexico.

He’s currently based in Bogota, Colombia.
